Liverpool ferry terminal shortlisted for award

One of four developments in category at this year's Architects' Journal Awards

The Isle of Man Ferry Terminal in Liverpool has been shortlisted for a prestigious British architecture award.

It's one of four developments in this year's Architects' Journal Awards Infrastructure and Transport Project category.

The terminal, thought to have cost in excess of £70 million, is owned by the Manx Government and opened to passengers in 2024.

David Gooberman, Director of Harbours at the DoI says they're thrilled to see the Terminal recognised at such a level.

And Minister, Dr Michelle Haywood says everyone involved in the project should be proud of the part they played in this success.

It's up against a footbridge in Worcester, a new entrance to a London Underground station and a transport interchange in Stockport.
