Treasury minister tells Tynwald there have been 'challenges' finalising terms
Details of the lease of the Isle of Man Ferry Terminal in Liverpool are yet to be finalised, according to the treasury minister.
In Tynwald, Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas queried conditions of the agreement between the Department of Infrastructure and Steam Packet Company.
Alex Allinson told political colleagues he is aware of 'challenges' to negotiations, but understands the 'majority' of issues to be agreed.
Dr Allinson further stressed delays to announcing a completion date of the ferry terminal were not in fact down to those 'commercial' talks, but he couldn't put a date on when we can expect to see the facility in use:
