Surge in number of people feeling isolated
This week, awareness is being raised for something many people, particularly recently, have been experiencing - loneliness.
Throughout the pandemic, there's been a surge in the number of citizens feeling alone and isolated because of social distancing and self isolation- a sensation that's been familiar to older generations in the community long before the coronavirus crisis.
Local organisation Live at Home aims to ease the affects of isolation, which can result in serious deterioration of both physical and mental health.
