'Little data available' on number of employees earning the minimum wage on the IOM

Treasury minister says no assessments of businesses or costs have been carried out since October

The treasury minister says there is little data available on how many employees earn the minimum wage on the Isle of Man. 

Alex Allinson was asked to publish impact assessments on the expected effects of the 9.9 percent increase, which will come into effect from April. 

In response, he told the House of Keys no assessments of businesses or costs have been carried out since October last year, and only between 2 and 5 percent receive the full minimum wage.
