Peter Boast taken to hospital following qualifying crash
Lightweight rider Peter Boast suffered suspected chest injuries following a crash in the first qualifying session of the 2022 Manx Grand Prix.
The number 18 rider came off on the approach to Union Mills.
The session was red flagged as a result.
Organisers have confirmed Boast was taken to Noble’s Hospital where he was reported as being conscious and talking.
Update: we can confirm the rider involved was Peter Boast, No.18 in the Lightweight Class. He is reported as conscious, talking and with suspected chest injuries. We send him our best wishes.
