Event remembers lost loved ones
After loss and illness, some Island residents aren't looking forward to Christmas this year.
That's why Hospice Isle of Man joins Hospice UK in hosting 'Light Up a Life' this weekend.
People will light a light on the Hospice Gardens Christmas tree on Sunday at 5.30pm.
They join residents and staff in a moment of reflection - then, on to tea, coffee, mince pies, and Christmas carols together.
The charity's chief executive officer, Anne Mills, says it gives people an opportunity to express their grief:
