
Peel lifeboat was called out to help a stricken yacht in danger of being washed onto rocks yesterday.
The Ruby Clery was called out at 3pm on Wednesday after a local yacht reported engine problems close to Contrary Head, about two miles South West of Peel.
The Sea Seven had developed engine trouble and her skipper dropped anchor, but was perilously close to cliffs.
The lifeboat crew towed her back to port.
