Sir Richard Gozney shares his memories with Manx Radio
The Island's Lieutenant Governor has recalled Prince Philip's steadfast support to The Queen.
The Duke of Edinburgh died at the age of 99 yesterday (9 April).
The Queen's representative on the Isle of Man, Sir Richard Gozney, has paid tribute to His Royal Highness - a man he met on a number of occasions.
He says he remembers well the Prince's commitment to his wife:
