Men were on rare fishing trip
Three Islanders have been prosecuted for angling without a licence or landing net and using illegal bait.
Agriculture chiefs have confirmed the men from Douglas admitted charges and were each fined £80 and ordered to pay £50 costs.
Magistrates didn’t impose a ban and said they didn’t want to discourage the men from fishing after they were apprehended at the Clypse reservoir in Onchan in July.
Residents are being reminded to have a licence to fish the Island’s rivers and reservoirs.
