Lawrie Hooper monitoring development of Change UK
A member of Liberal Vannin says he would like to see party politics become 'more usual' on the Isle of Man.
At present, Tynwald is predominantly made up of independent candidates, with two LibVan representatives in the House of Keys and a Manx Labour Party member in the Legislative Council.
That's in contrast to other jurisdictions like the UK, where the majority of politicians are affiliated to a party.
Lawrie Hooper says he's been keeping an eye on the development of a new party across the water:
Carers: 'They are often the quiet heroes of our Island'
Hooper: 'Time to bite the bullet and build new hospital'
'No final decisions' made yet about relocating dementia patients says Manx Care
'We want to provide a facility for almost anybody'
