Decarbonisation, more attention given to public sector housing and the health service are among Manx political party Liberal Vannin's top priorities for the year ahead.
It comes as the treasury minister is due to set out his budget tomorrow.
Last year we saw a significant use of the Island's reserves, but the party acknowledges conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East are affecting economies around the world, and don't show any signs of slowing.
Party Chair Paul Weatherall was asked how cautious the Island should be with its finances:
