From 2016, the British Museum has agreed to rehouse six of the Lewis chessmen in a purpose built gallery on the Scottish Island.
Some of the chessmen were on show in the Isle of Man recently along with "The Chronicles of the Kings of Mann and the Isles". Some have argued the book's rightful place is here, rather than in the British Library..
