No euros waiting in Spanish bank unfortunately
If you've received a letter claiming to be from a Spanish barrister with great news about six million euros waiting for you in a bank in Spain, it's a scam.
Police says they've received a number of reports from Manx residents about a typed letter being sent to homes from someone called Javier Antonio Arandia Garcia.
It asks for personal details to be sent to an email address so funds can be released.
Anyone who gets a letter like this is advised not to respond, and officers say they will happily review any suspicious documentation.
