Island could have first post-coronavirus school in British Isles
It's important to learn lessons from the coronavirus pandemic when designing a new secondary school for the Isle of Man.
That's the view of education minister Dr Alex Allinson, who believes the replacement Castle Rushen High School could be the first school constructed in the British Isles post-Covid.
Work is underway on the design of the building, while construction on the playing fields could begin in the next month if Tynwald approves funding for the sporting facilities.
