The Health Minister explained in Keys today why the Island can't ban legal highs
Health Minister Howard Quayle says he can’t introduce a blanket ban on legal highs, despite concerns.
This morning in the House of Keys he faced questions on the substances and their effect on the Island’s mental health service from Onchan MHK Peter Karran.
Mr Quayle admitted the drugs were causing concern, and said his department’s undergoing a rethink about what can be done.
But he explained why all such drugs can’t simply be outlawed.
