Providing legal aid to the Island's most vulnerable is imperative.
That's from the president of the Isle of Man's law society Jane Gray.
Her comments come after Deemster Corlett was sworn in as First Deemster and Clerk of the Rolls.
Ms Gray says the service is important to a variety of people, including victims of domestic violence.
