Eastern European staff re-training
A leading Douglas hotelier says Brexit has had a marked effect on staff recruitment in the hospitality sector - an effect that started from even before the referendum in 2016.
Tim Baggaley, who's director at the Regency on Queen's Promenade, says it's vital to get the best staff to work in his hotel.
However, that is proving harder and harder, with some workers studying for further qualifications on-Island, in order to look for work in other areas of the economy.
