Plans will be presented to public next week
Plans are being put forward to change the layout of busy section of highway in Ballasalla.
The Department of Infrastructure is looking to replace the mini roundabout at Balthane with a traffic light system.
It says this would offer a future connection between Balthane and a new roundabout at Glashen Hill north of the village.
Residents will get a chance to view and discuss the plans next week.
A public drop-in session will take place at Ballasalla Village Hall on Mill Road on Thursday (19 August) from 6.30pm to 8pm.
Members of the highways team will explain the proposals before inviting questions from the public.
Officials say any feedback from residents at the session will be considered ahead of a formal planning application in the coming months.
