Rotting timber has stopped Lady Isabella turning
More than £300,000 could be spent on repairing the Laxey Wheel.
That's according to the Director of Manx National Heritage, Edmund Southworth.
The Lady Isabella has been out of action due to a patch of rotting timber inside the wheel, and will stop 'turning' until summer next year.
While investigating the best options available, Mr Southworth says Manx National Heritage is faced with "no real alternative":
