Parents also reminded to notify school of absences
Parents of pupils at Laxey Primary School are being warned about their children arriving late.
The school has taken to social media to say 23 kids turned up after 8.50am today, with several arriving close to and after 9am.
It says these children will be given unauthorised late marks in the register.
If lates for individual children reach a certain level then the attendance officers at the Department of Education, Sport and Culture are informed.
There's also a reminder parents and carers should telephone (861373) or email the school (laxeyenquiries@sch.im) to let staff know if their children will be absent, along with a reason.
