Christ Church will serve as welcome centre
A new heritage trail has helped keep one of the Island's churches open.
Christ Church in Laxey was facing amalgamation, but has been saved thanks to the Visit Laxey Valley Heritage Trail, which launches at midday tomorrow.
Those embarking on the trail will get to learn about characters from Laxey's mining times, as well as visiting historical sites.
