The latest work in the programme to regenerate Ramsey gets under way next week around East Street and Parliament Street.
Sixteen weeks of work begins on Monday to replace pavements and upgrade drain outfalls at a cost of £317,000.
As well as providing pedestrian-friendly pavements, the improvements will also solve drainage problems that have plagued Parliament Street.
The road closures needed will be coordinated with swing bridge closures to minimise disruption.
