Fire service warning after recent wildfires
Firefighters are warning people that people who inadvertently start fires on the Island could be required to carry the cost of dealing with the incident.
The warning comes from the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service after a number of gorse fires and ahead of the upcoming TT period.
Dealing with incidents can require high numbers of firefighters and appliances, particularly in remote areas where water supplies are in short supply.
