Landmarks to turn pink to mark Organ Donation Week

People urged to consider - and talk about - their wishes

Landmarks across the Isle of Man will be lit up in pink this week to mark Organ Donation Week and encourage people to consider their wishes. 

It follows a stark warning, from NHS Blood and Transplant, that nine people are dying each week in the UK whist waiting for a donation.

In January this year the law on the Isle of Man changed to an opt-out system bringing us in line with the UK, Northern Ireland, Jersey and Guernsey. 

Diane Taylor is a donor mum and the founder of Organ Donation Isle of Man which pushed for the change.
