Highlights concern over public sector pensions
A private landlord and former hotelier who’s standing in next month’s East Douglas by-election says parking and bedsits are the main issues in the constituency.
58 year old John Hanson is the seventh candidate to come forward to contest the seat left vacant by the retirement of Brenda Cannell.
Mr Hanson says his greatest concern on a national level is making sure the Island can afford its public sector pensions.
He told Manx Radio why he thinks people should vote for him on polling day:
