Drug supplier gets 16 years
The father of two Island brothers who died after a man sold them drugs on the dark web says he'll never have full closure.
26-year-old Kurt Lailan was sentenced to 16 years at Portsmouth Crown Court this week for earning hundreds of thousands of pounds selling ecstasy tablets online.
Port St Mary men Jacques and Torin Lakeman, who were 19 and 20-years-old respectively, used Mr Lailan's 'sophisticated' dark web site to buy drugs in 2014.
It resulted in a fatal overdose - their father, Ray Lakeman, says bringing him to justice has brought some comfort.
