TravelWatch advises passengers to book early
A 40,000 drop in the number of seats available on air routes to London this summer is worrying.
That's the belief of passenger watchdog TravelWatch.
Group spokesman on aviation Terry Liddiard says a combination of the loss of the Flybe Stansted service and the planned reduction of Easyjet flights from Gatwick on some peak days will have an impact.
He says - frustratingly - it's not a case of a lack of demand.
The group's advice to passengers travelling to London this summer is to book early as prices may rise.
