Economic Development Minister John Shimmin says banks not changing foreign currency is a poor service for tourists arriving on the Island.
The issue was brought up on Manx Radio’s Present Politics programme by a listener who’d had trouble changing money for visitors.
Mr Shimmin said at a time when the Island’s tourism industry needs to be as attractive as possible, the situation was a problem.
And he said it would be something looked at in the future:
Some pubs to stay open for early-hours England match
Tynwald to revisit rates bill after the election
Douglas Council to install temporary play area in Marine Gardens
