Ahead of World Mental Health Day, so-called 'peer mentors' are being highlighted as a key element to supporting those struggling with mental health conditions in schools.
King William's College runs a programme which sees staff train those wishing to be of service.
Peer mentors are pupils within the school who can be approached by other students, who may feel more comfortable speaking with a peer, as opposed to a member of staff.
