
The 2014 Archibald Knox scholarship has been won by Amy Beth Clark.
She received a a £3,000 travel bursary sponsored by Home Strategic
The award was made during an evening organised by the Archibald Knox Society to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of the influential artist.
Amy Beth, who was one of five finalists from Isle of Man College shortlisted for the award, is now studying for her degree at the College - one of only two students to do that.
She will also be among the first students to work from the old Market Hall in Douglas.
Amy Beth says she had learnt about Knox's work in her college studies and is now hoping to use the bursary to further her artistic experience and education . .
