
The chief executive of the Department of Economic Development says he believes he's well placed to help with the development of a democratic government on Sark.
Colin Kniveton is taking up the role of chief secretary of the smallest of the Channel Islands from November 1 for four months.
Mr Kniveton says having had roles in both the private and public sectors on another small Island communty, he's seen as being a safe pair of hands to oversee change on Sark, which has a population of around 600:
