Further sentence after prison attack
A repeat offender from St John's is to spend even more time behind bars.
Donovan Kitching, who is 34, has this afternoon been sentenced to a further 11 months' imprisonment in total for attacking two officers last month.
He pleaded guilty to two counts of assault at an earlier hearing.
The new sentences will run consecutively to his current term.
He previously had his sentence extended in July last year for a similar attack on prison staff.
Kitching is currently part of the way through a ten-year prison spell for causing the death of Gwen Valentine by dangerous driving in April 2014.
