Crews battle smoke logged home
Fire crews had to don breathing apparatus as they battled a house fire in Peel.
Emergency services were called to the blaze at a property on the Ballawattleworth Estate yesterday.
Though the fire had been confined to the kitchen, the house was filled with smoke.
Two officers, using basic hose equipment, managed to put it out.
No one was reported to be injured.
