Duncan Livingstone elected to the board
Kirk Michael has a new commissioner.
Duncan Livingstone was elected to the board in yesterday's by-election with 141 votes to opponent Sosthene Boussougou, who was unsuccessful with 102 votes.
Mr Livingstone takes the seat made vacant when Barry Murphy stood down from the commission last month.
But this is not the beginning of his political career, as he told Local Democracy Reporter Sarah Hendy:
