South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft wants to know why a building company working on a project in the South of the Island has been paid some of its fees early.
In the House of Keys tomorrow (TUES), she’ll quiz Social Care Minister Chris Robertshaw about payments to Parkinson’s as it builds public-sector homes at Janet’s Corner in Castletown.
Mrs Beecroft says retention fees usually given to companies when work’s been finished satisfactorily have already been paid to the firm.
And she says her questions are designed to find out why:
