Both branches called for urgent sitting
Urgent sittings of the House of Keys and the Legislative Council will take place tomorrow.
Both branches of Tynwald will sit, on Thursday 18 March, to consider emergency legislation to move the local authority election date to July.
A bill, which enables the change, will be put forward by Infrastructure Minister Tim Baker. He's seeking to have it pass through all stages in one day.
It's understood this will also cover issues to do with the legality of decisions made at online meetings and changes to AGM requirements.
The elections were due to take place on 22 April but were delayed for a second consecutive year as a result of Covid-19 concerns.
