Remedial work needed to address defect with newly installed pipeline
Kewaigue Hill will close later this morning after an issue was identified with the newly installed pipeline.
Manx Utilities confirmed remedial work would be necessary following final inspection and testing of the system.
The route will shut from 9.30am today until Sunday evening, or earlier if the work is completed ahead of schedule.
Manx Utilities has apologised to residents, businesses and road users, but says addressing the defect will help avoid more significant disruption and cost in the future.
