Kate Beecroft has been elected leader of the Liberal Vannin Party.
She succeeds Peter Karran who has held the role since the party was formed in August 2006.
The South Douglas MHK says it’s 'quite a responsibility'.
She was elected at the party’s annual general meeting yesterday (Sunday).
