Chief Constable said to be 'mindful' of potential change to recruitment process
Just 40 people applied to be police officers in the Constabulary's most recent recruitment campaign, with only three of them being successful.
It's hoped a 12 percent pay increase for junior constables will inspire more people to apply for the force.
The raise brings starting salaries in line with other emergency services.
