Jury sworn-in for death by dangerous driving case

37-year-old denies charge

A 37-year-old man has gone on trial at Douglas Courthouse accused of causing death by dangerous driving.

Jackson Joseph Paul denies the charge against him.

Seven jurors were sworn-in today (2 September) by Deemster Sandeep Kainth.

The case is expected to last for seven days.

Twenty-nine-year-old Jordan Thomas died on 4 March 2024 after being involved in a collision on Harbour Road in Onchan on 25 February 2024.
