A jury has been sworn in at the trial of seven people accused of election fraud.
Seven jurors – three men and four women – were warned by the judge, Deemster Turner, not to speak to anyone about the case nor to research it on the internet, but to focus solely on what evidence they will hear over the next few months.
They will return to the court next week and it’s hoped the prosecution will outline its case next Monday afternoon (Sep 17).
