Coroner of Inquests tells jury to 'put emotion to one side'
The jury at the inquest into the death of a serving prisoner has retired to consider its verdict.
Christopher Peter Corkill was found dead in his cell at the Isle of Man Prison on 24 February last year.
Sending the jury out at Douglas Courthouse this morning Coroner of Inquests Graeme Cook told them: “There is no rush or time limit.”
He added: “Please put emotion to one side. Cool, calm and clinical judgement is what’s needed from you.”
