35-year-old remanded in custody until sentencing
A Douglas man has been found guilty of causing death by dangerous driving.
35-year-old Jackson Joseph Paul, of Palace Road, stood trial this week after denying the offence.
Onchan resident Jordan Thomas, who was 29-years-old, died on 4 March 2024 following an incident with Paul's BMW on Harbour Road on 25 February.
At Douglas Courthouse today (14 February) a jury took two hours and 30 minutes to reach its verdict.
Mr Paul will be sentenced on 24 February and has been remanded at the Isle of Man Prison until that date.
