25-year-old was arrested after police found voice messages from her on Snapchat
A Douglas woman accused of supplying cannabis will be sentenced later this year.
Rafaela Filipa Monterio Ramos, of Farvane Park, pleaded guilty to the offence during an appearance at Douglas Courthouse.
The 25-year-old was arrested after police found voice messages from her on Snapchat after they arrested a male in a separate investigation.
They evidenced that she had purchased cannabis from him on more than one occasion and was selling the drugs on to generate income herself.
The prosecutor told the court the amount of drugs involved could not be determined, but that 12 ounces was mentioned within the voice notes.
Summary jurisdiction was accepted by Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood.
A social enquiry report has been requested before Ramos is sentenced on 24 June; she’s been bailed until that date.
