Unique chance to play along
If playing with one of Britain's best known symphonic orchestras is on your bucket list, there's a golden opportunity ahead.
Manchester's Hallé Orchestra will be performing at the Villa Marina on Saturday, 17 and Sunday, 18 June.
But as part of their Come and play with the Hallé initiative, local people will have the unique chance to join in with the latter performance.
Singers or musicians of any age can take part, with the only condition being an ability to read music.
Participants must also attend at least one mandatory rehearsal.
There will be two choral pieces, and two instrumental pieces, on offer - and the sheet music provided will be pitched at different difficultly levels.
