Issue tabled in Keys questions yesterday (Tues 22)
The government of Jersey has voted to scrap the fees for the EU citizens settlement scheme.
The move follows on from the UK government decision announced by Theresa May on Monday.
The issue was set to be raised by Lawrie Hooper in the House of Keys yesterday. Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper had tabled a question asking when the Isle of Man EU Settlement scheme will be laid before Tynwald and what date registration will open.
His question was deferred to next week's sitting, after Mr Hooper was held up in traffic following the closure of the Mountain Road due to an accident.
