Follows calls from MHK to appoint commissioner for children
Jersey's commissioner for children has offered to help the Isle of Man as it evolves its own child protection strategy.
Deborah McMillan has been in post since 2018 for the States of Jersey following an inquiry into abuse at children's homes on the Island.
Garff MHK Daphne Caine led a debate in Tynwald this week on the merits of introducing a similar role here.
Ms McMillan believes the changes in Jersey have had a positive effect:
