Public Health gives Douglas noodle bar green light
Java Express Coffee Shop and Noodle Bar in Douglas is set to reopen today after every member of staff tested negative for Covid-19.
The establishment on Prospect Hill was deemed 'low-risk' last week after being visited by someone with coronavirus, and was closed yesterday after another customer present at the time also tested positive.
Everybody in the shop between 12:30 and 13:30 on Tuesday 16 February was told to isolate immediately.
Last night, following the return of every negative result, Public Health advised owners that the premises could reopen for business.
Java will open today at the slightly later time of 10am, while staff undertake a deep clean of the site.
