That reassurance from the politician tasked with managing the UK Government’s relationship with the crown dependencies.
Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice, David Lidington, made his first visit to the Island last week.
He says it’s important the relationship between the UK and the Isle of Man is a positive one.
