'It's a wonderful career' Isle of Man celebrates World Social Work Day

Over 90 people attend event at Noble's Hospital

The Island has been marking World Social Work Day (17 March) with one of Manx Care's assistant directors calling it a 'wonderful career'.

Over 90 people attended the event at Keyll Darree at Noble's Hospital which bring social workers all around the Island together. 

The celebration is held every year, with this year's theme 'Harambe' a Swahili word meaning 'let's work together'.

Julie Gibney and Nick Fripp are the Assistant Director's of Children and Family Social Work and Adult Social Care respectively
